1st Annual CBus Improv Festival - October 20th-23rd, 2011!
Submissions open starting July 10th, closed August 1st, 2011. 18 groups will be selected to perform in this inaugural festival for the city of Columbus, Ohio.

Tara DeFrancisco, festival coordinator and producer, is a native daughter of Columbus, Ohio. Around 2000, Tara moved to the city of Chicago to learn in the greatest city for improv in the world. Tara is renowned as a Second City, ComedySportz, and iO performer and instructor, as well as an independent coach for teams worldwide. As a seasoned, decorated performer and winner of many comedic awards, TD hopes to share the wealth of training institutions and the bank of incredible performers she has met with the world so no one will need to move from her beautiful hometown ever again to grow in the artform.

This first festival will happen over Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings in October 2011. Local performers encouraged to submit and contact Tara directly; ensemble outside of Columbus please submit starting July 10th, 2011.
